Our History

Dedham employees, Leo Fitzhenry, George Merino, Louis DeMartino, William Hasenfuss, Alexander George, Andrew Galvin, Francis O’Brien, Joseph Nagle and Joseph Reiss got to work and were rewarded when the Dedham Town Employees Federal Credit Union was incorporated, June 25, 1962.

Leading the way was Bentley graduate, Mrs. Ruth Ann Hurley, CEO, MSR, Lending Officer, Marketing Officer, CFO, Regulatory Officer.....She was a 1 person force who drove the Credit Union into its existence and began serving employees and family members of Dedham Town Hall, Dedham Public Schools, Dedham Library, Council on Aging, Youth Commission, DPW, Recreation, Police and Fire Departments, Dedham Housing Authority, Dedham-Westwood Water District Employees, Elected Officials of the Town of Dedham and Town Meeting Members. Norfolk County Employees and Norfolk County Agricultural High School joined the Credit Union in 2012.
